I don't know why, but all of a sudden, I've just gone against the idea of growing up.

This past year has been really hard for me. Firstly, I had my GCSEs to get out of the way, which I really didn't enjoy. At least the study leave off school helped a little. Then we had the prom. One of the best nights of my life. But after that, everything changed. I haven't seen one of my best friends since then, as she's usually busy on her days off from college.
I decided against sixth form a week before I was due to attend, meaning I don't see my other best friend as often as I used to. Now I'm trying to juggle a Japanese course and a writing course whilst job searching and trying to keep a healthy social life with my best mates. Phew. Not easy.

Considering what life was like back in primary and secondary school, life now is so perplexing. I would give anything to go back to the days where life was simple, just going to school, doing homework, and seeing my friends every day. How I miss messing around in lessons with Billie. We had such a laugh xD

I know I'm sounding like an old person reminiscing about days gone by, but I can't help feeling lost now those days are gone. I only wish I could stay a kid, even for a little while longer. I guess... I'm just too scared to face the future as a mature and responsible adult yet.

The future, to me, is still a daunting place, and it may be a few more years before I fully accept that I can't go back to being a kid and have to grow up. ^-^'
